My husband’s fortieth birthday was approaching and when I mentioned to a friend that I didn’t know what to get him as a gift, she gave me Light His Fire (the marriage counseling alternative). “My husband couldn’t believe his eyes. He commented that he thought he knew me so well that he would have bet a million dollars that I wasn’t capable of doing something like this. Well, I certainly shocked him, and myself to be quite honest. It’s fun doing something different. No more shirts and ties for my husband.”
